While he was growing up, Obama had a passion for basketball. He played whenever he could and became a great player. All of his friends used to dislike playing with him because he was so good. His friends also called him the O-bomber. When he played in high school he was one of the best players on the court, and his coaches loved him because he has a passion toward the game of basketball.

After this he transferred to Columbia University, in New York. There Obama majored in political science and specialized in international relations.
