COVID-19 Policies for St. Paul Athletics
Participants must not exhibit signs or symptoms of COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to competition.
All athletes competing in the contest, coaches, and referees will be screened for COVID-19 with questions and a contactless thermometer. Any person with positive symptoms will be isolated and not allowed to participate in the game.
Athletes and coaches on the bench will be spaced appropriately. The length of the bench may be extended to accommodate this.
Coaches and athletes waiting to get into the game will need to wear their masks while on the sidelines.
All people at the scorers table will be asked to wear a face mask. Visiting team personnel (scorer, statistician, etc.) are not deemed essential personnel and will need to find an alternate location.
No water fountains will be available. Athletes will be required to bring their own water bottles. Water bottles may not be shared between athletes.
Hand sanitizer/restrooms with soap and water will be available for athletes throughout games.
The traditional “handshake line” after contests will be altered or eliminated. Another form of sportsmanship will be agreed upon and performed with the visiting team.
No locker rooms/separate rooms will be available for the visiting teams. Visiting teams should come dressed before their contest.
When the game has been completed, visiting teams should exit the gym and hold their meetings elsewhere.
Fans will be allowed to enter the gym 10 minutes before the start of a game.
Families are welcome to attend the games - Family members will need to stay together.

In the gym, bleacher seats will be marked indicating where spectators are to be seated to ensure social distancing.
The bleachers will be cleaned/sanitized in between games.
When the game has been completed, all fans should exit the gym.
