What makes Pre-Kindergarten 3 (PK3) at St. Paul a special place to learn and grow?
Our main goal in our Pre-Kindergarten 3 program is to provide a warm and caring environment, where children develop a love of school and learning. We seek to provide time, opportunities and activities that help children develop the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic skills they need through developmentally appropriate activities that children enjoy! Above all, we want children to know that they are a cherished child of God!
Our teachers create a curriculum based on themes; integrating a variety of resources. These themes include topics such as colors, holidays, nursery rhymes, animals, insects, and plants. Daily activities, such as story time, music and movement, arts and crafts, games, show and tell, and inside play are designed around the weekly theme. These activities promote preliteracy and early math skills. They also help children gain essential skills like critical thinking, cooperative play, problem solving, creativity, and self-expression.
We invite you to come, see, and learn more about this wonderful program!
